The gorgeous pieces of jewelry that you will find in these pages are the creation of Fabio Pallanti, an Italian jewelry designer and Florentine "orafo" - goldsmith. From his previous workshops in Florence and San Gimignano and now from the heart of Maremma in Italy, Fabio designs and makes by hand truely distinctive Italian jewelry for people who want to wear something that is simply stunning. His jewelry is often described by his Italian clients as "particolare" - in this context meaning special and unusual - and, although each piece is unique, the women who own one of his creations instantly recognise Fabio's work when worn by another because of its definitive style and fine quality. I was captivated by Fabio's work the moment I saw it for the first time in his workshop in San Gimignano in Tuscany. I had never seen anything like his designs before, and nor have I since. They are just gorgeous. Everyone of Fabio's creations are made with solid sterling silver, 18K or 24K gold. Every piece is hallmarked and (size permitting) bears the Pallanti signature.
